It was very frustrating. My '25 Equinox EV stopped accepting a fast charge, along with a minor issue of a plastic piece being partially detached. On Monday I called and was given an appointment on Tuesday morning at 8:30, so I dropped the vehicle off Monday evening. On Tuesday I did not hear anything about progress that day other than a text message saying that my vehicle was there and I could text for updates, but when I did text nobody replied. So I called and left a message with my assigned advisor but did not get a call back. When I called again on Wednesday it took 10 minutes to connect with my "Service Advisor" Norton, who I had to leave a message with. When he called me back that afternoon he obviously did not know anything about my vehicle because he was reading straight from his computer screen what I had already told the operator who booked my appointment. And nobody had looked at my vehicle yet. Frustrated with the lack of communication on Thursday I stopped by in person and spoke with Chris, who called a mechanic and told me my vehicle was currently being looked at. He promised to call me with an update by the end of the business day, but I never got a call. Friday afternoon I finally got a text from Norton saying that the vehicle had been reprogrammed and a test drive was under way. Apparently this didn't solve the problem because I got another message later saying that they would try again, on Monday. I received no communication on Monday. On Tuesday I texted asking for an update and did not get a reply. Wednesday morning I got a text saying the vehicle was ready for pick up, but did not get any explanation for what the problem was and how it was fixed. The agent who checked me out also had no further details, and the paper packet mentions only "reprogramming" but nothing practical about how I might prevent future issues or what level of confidence the mechanic has in the repair. In summary, even though I had an appointment the vehicle was not looked at for at least 2 days, and nearly all communication over the entire week it was in for service was initiated by me. As I am leasing this vehicle, I wonder if I should be refunded for the 8 days that the vehicle was unavailable to me?

It is difficult to get ahold of the service department and they do not respond quickly. My 2024 3/4 at4 was dropped off on Tuesday to have the town plug troubleshot and stil. Have not heard back

"I had a fantastic experience at Mountain Chevrolet for my regular maintenance and a recall alert. My service advisor was incredibly professional and kept me in the loop regarding the cost and timeline. They finished faster than expected, and my car was even washed! I highly recommend this dealership for their honesty and top-tier service.
